Blog giveaway: Happy Chuseok!

I’m ready for tomorrow’s Chuseok holiday. Got our Chuseok presents and I’ll bring some of them to my first brother-in-law’s house.

Please don’t forget to watch KBS1 Norae Jarang on Sunday, 12 PM KST. They have several Pinoy contestants on their multi-cultural special show for Chuseok. I hope I could watch it even though I have to help with the preparation tomorrow.

Anyway, before I go to “battle” tomorrow here’s the blog giveaway to celebrate Chuseok.

Blog giveaway: Happy Chuseok!

I love Christmas! Philippines has the longest celebration for Christmas. When the ‘ber’ month starts (which is literally September 1st), everybody’s in high spirit. Everyone’s greeting one another “Happy Christmas!”, we play Christmas music, and you’ll see street vendors selling colorful Christmas lanterns. Everybody’s happy!!

my favourite holiday is Muslim Festival of Sacrifices ,dont get it wrong it’s a festival we eat meat and some traditional food and it at least takes 4 or 5 days so i can have a chance to visit my hometown and to see my grandparents, having a great view of seaside while i’m eating special foods made for festival .and also in this festival we have a chance to help poor people by sharing our meats .we help them to improve their health condition and also we visit graveyards to remember we can die anytime so we must be good people because dying with sins is not a good thing for whom wants to go heaven you know 🙂
and we can go anyone’s house in this festival period to want sweets, chocolates!! so i love this holiday ,it’s very good for our personal improvement!!

I can meet all my family and friends (because they all come back to my hometown), there are many special foods too (too many cookies to mention and all fat-induced food), and when I can still get my angpao (pocket money), I will make it the topmost at the list.

I fall in love with Christmas, paskong pinoy is probably the longest running celebration for the Yuletide season. Well I love the holiday cheers, the festive decors, the never ending food fest and parties, the chilly atmosphere (well for living in a tropical country, this season is quite a refreshing change) moreover the holiday rush but most of all how this event binds people together from all over the world.

    First of all,I wanna greet you.HI!! I’m a girl from Malaysia.=)
My favorite holiday is school holiday..School students in Malaysia get the school holidays which are in Mac,June and the long school holiday, starting from November untill early of January.I love school holiday because it is the most appropriate time for me to gather with my family members,I’ve lived in hostel since I was 13years old then I entered a boarding school when I was 16 years old.Life in hostel was quite difficult sometimes especially when I was in the boarding school. As for my family,we only got to eat all together and went for a vacation when it was school holiday. Now I am 19 years old and I only have my semester vacation.I really miss my precious moments during school holidays because it’s difficult for my family to be all together since my father and my sister are busy with their work.
Lastly,I wish you can spending your times with your children as much as you can while they are growing up.=)
