Red Shirt Day on June 12

Happy 112th Philippine Independence Day Mga Kababayan!

Are you ready for June 12? My husband and I watched the World Cup Opening and Kick-off Concert with a bottle of Asahi Dry (my Korean husband’s favorite beer is a Japanese brand!) and Heineken (mine!) plus Pringles and dried squid. Did you know that beer has some good health effects? This does not include the benefits of an enzyte though.

Watching the concert made us wish we were in South Africa. Nevertheless, we already have plans to be at Seoul Plaza for one of the games. Since we have a son who simply can’t keep still, we’re skipping the Saturday night cheering for the South Korea-Greece game. However, we’re surely going to wear our red shirts tomorrow. My husband’s is the Adidas Da.Dae.Ti and mine – The Shouts of Reds!

Samsung Insurance sent us four sets of tattoos that I brought to my work. I used them as freebies for my kids today. I only have a few left – the kids didn’t like the Kim Hyesoo tattoo while the girls took the other Bi tattoos. We’ll be wearing them when we go out on Saturday. Will the rain dampen the Red Devils’ spirits?

They were expecting about a million people to attend the public cheering. Unfortunately, it rained the whole day. It started raining last night at around 11PM and until the last time I went out tonight it was still raining. We’re at home and yes we’re partying and cheering for Nigeria now ;)

Go Korea! Go ASIA!

I wish soccer surpasses the popularity of basketball in the Philippines.

And I hope in our lifetime, the Philippines can host the World Cup and the Olympics! ~~^^ Wild dreams… but who knows? The next 25 years might turn us into a rich country! LOL
