We don’t fold the scrap bags like the snack wrapper, but – wow – you should see the precision with which my Korean wife folds the little white grocery sacks. Those go to my MIL for Lord knows what nefarious purposes.

By the way Ninang Betch, thank you po sa tulong sa Job Hiring post. Ang atin pong natulungan ay isang kababayan natin na nakatira sa Paju. Dalawang taon na po na natapos ang kanyang visa. Kanina ay kasama ko siya naghapunan sa bahay. Maligaya po ako at talagang komportable s’ya at maayos ang lahat sa kanya duon. Alam naman natin na ang mga Pilipina ay isa sa pinakamagagaling na kasama sa bahay. Sa unang personal na interview pa lamang nya ay minahal na sya ng kanyang employer. Kanina ay nagluto pa sya ng “banana cake.” Kanya lamang, sana nag “banana Q’ na lang sya…

Samantalang ang ating pangalawang natulungan ay nasa PIlipinas na. Siya po ay tubong MIndoro. Ngayon po ay kasama nya ang pamilya ng kanyang employer na naglalakbay sa gitnang bahagi ng Pilipinas. Maligaya po ako na tinanggap ang tulong na ito, ang tulong na tanging alam ko na maiibigay sa ating mga kababayan sa Korea.

have seen pinoy children in manila fashioning green candy wrappers to flower leaves and the brighter colored ones to rose or flower petals and glue them on a stick and put them in a vase voila origami and ikebana combined.

I know a smaller way of folding plastic wrappers.XD Di ko alam kung anong country galing yun.. Bale isang triangle lang sya na maliit dapat. Nakita ko lang yung isang classmate ko na ginagawa yun, ginaya ko lang. hehe.

hallu ate betchay!

i studied in a high school run by korean and filipina nuns and they taught us how to do this with our plastic bag/wrapper wastes. i do it until now and my MIL was quite surprised i actually know how to do it. haha. i do it too with our plastic shopping bags…
