When I attended the KOTESOL Conference last October, a Filipina professor teaching at a university here encouraged me to continue my studies. I’m planning to do that later, when my contract ends. Being a mother, wife and a worker takes a lot of my time – what more if I’d go back to school? I might not have time to sleep!
I’d like to try to get an online degree someday from a reputable institution like Western Governors University. They are non-profit and more affordable than others. What’s more important is that they are fully accredited. There are so many online universities but it’s quite tricky to find one that it’s recognized by organizations like the USDLA – United States Distance Learning Association.
