I got an email last week from a reader complaining about the Philippine Embassy’s website (she’s not the first one to complain to me about the embassy). She claimed that they didn’t update the website when they transferred to a new location. I visited the website and when I looked at their map, it was the same. I then sent an email to one of the embassy officers and inquired about their new address. He said that the address was posted a month before they moved. When I visited the site again this week, they had updated the map. 4396508

The red arrow points to the location. It’s near the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Namsan. To get there, take bus nos. 402, 405 or village bus Yongsan 03. It’s not as convenient as the one near Noksapyeong Station. However, there’s a really nice garden near Grand Hyatt called the Namsan Botanical Gardens that we often visit when we couldn’t find parking near the National Theater

hello betchay, my kids r going to pinas for 1 yr. we r korean passport holders need kaya na kumuha pa ng visa sa phil. embassy? or kahit hindi na…gu2 ko kc mag aral mga kids ko sa atin for 1 yr kaso diko alam law sa atin..
hi mabel! nung huli kami umuwi ng anak ko, binigyan ako ng immigration sa airport ng balikbayan visa (“bb visa” nakasulat sa stamped entry sa passport)… pinakita ko lang yung canceled Philippine passport ko… yung anak ko rin ay binigyan ng “bb visa”… pwede ka mag-stay ng isang taon sa pilipinas at pwede i-extend… yung school requirements siguro tanong mo na lang sa school kung saan sila mag-aaral…
yung dalawa kong pamangkin na US citizens nag-aaral sa Pilipinas pero sabi ng kuya ko hindi naman sila hinanapan na ng special visa o kung anuman ng school

hello po.gusto ko lang po sana mag tanong,kinasal po ako dito sa korea 4 years ago, sa isang us army,then i just got divorced,nung kinasal po ako pinapalitan ko po ng married ang passport ko sa philippine embassy dito, ngayon pong divorce nako at magpapakasal uli sa isang us army kelangan ko po bang palitan muna uli at ibalik sa single ang passport ko bago ako magpakasal uli dito sa korea? pls reply po agad..tnx..

gud pm po. gus2 ko lang po itanong kung ano pede ko gawin. Gus2 ko po sana pumunta sa korea pra magvacation. dyan po kc nagwowork ang husband ko. Wala pa po kc kming baby and 4 yrs n kami nagta try. Bka sakali pag ako ang pumunta dyan e makabuo kami. Mahirap po bang makakuha ng visa. My work po ako d2 sa pinas as a medical technologist sa isang government hospital. and if ever nd nman ako magstay dyan ng mtagal pra magwork. i just want to have a quality time with my husband. Hi Pamela! Apply ka as a tourist. Prepare mo lang ang employment certificate mo, ITR, bank account at application. Kung E-9 ang visa ng husband, better not tell the embassy about him. Automatic rejection daw (according sa mga nag-inquire sa embassy).
