My nephew had a 14-hour layover in Incheon yesterday. I asked him to come directly to our apartment in Seoul and I was surprised to find him standing outside the door when I came back from sending off my son to his school bus.
It was my nephew’s first time in Seoul and he didn’t get lost despite the three subway transfers that he had to do from the airport to our place. He found the Koreans he encountered along the way very helpful that he wanted to learn Korean now and hopefully come back soon for a real tour.
Anyway, since I only had two hours to take him around I decided to bring him first to N Seoul Tower. I just love this place in the morning when it’s not so crowded! Then we took the bus down to Myeongdong for lunch before I headed off to work.
It has been reported that Kwon Sang Woo has invested in a tea/coffee shop. Its first branch is in Myeongdong, at the second floor of Tabby. In fact, it will open today (October 24) and Kwon Sang Woo will be there at 2 PM for fan signing. Myeongdong is already too crowded during the weekends, how much more when a Hallyu star would come for a visit?
Kwon Sang Woo’s fan base is mostly women, who are of course attracted to his good looks and muscular body (that he probably got from spending time on a dip machine). He might have lost some projects when he got married but I bet his loyal fans will always be there for him.
So guys… if you have time this afternoon and you’re itching to see a Hallyu star in person, then you know where to go!

hi betchay, i just wanna say thanks again to you and your post kasi I was able to drop by Tea Us nung trip namin sa Korea last month. grabe, nagpaka-fan gurl talaga ako & nagpa-picture dun sa stairway na may posters ni KSW. thanks to your email din about going to Winter Sonata’s filming location. sayang kasi i wasn’t able to read the email nung nandyan kami. sa sobrang excited ko about the tour, di ko man lang na-check emails ko before the flight. but i’m planning to go back if not this November, by next year siguro. i-timing ko yung wala ng snow this time. at least i have your contacts now
