I’m not really familiar with Joseph Bitangcol so I was quite surprised to read a Korean news item about him. Apparently, he said in an interview that he’s happy with Sandara Park’s (now DARA) success and calling her as his “jeon yeoja chingu” (Hangeul: 전 여자친구) or “past girlfriend”. He also said that they keep in touch from time to time.
In a media interview yesterday, July 15, Dara vehemently denied that she is Joseph Bitangcol’s ex-girlfriend. She said that almost all talents in the Philippines are involved in a concept of what is called a “loveteam”. This is how she and Joseph were related.
Sandara Park and Joseph Bitangcol were together in a reality show called “Star Quest” in 2004. This is where Sandara first gained popularity with her famous wave and “mahal ko kayo” greeting.
Personally, I admire Sandara’s commitment to her fans in the Philippines. She has never forgotten where she came from. In fact, if you ever see the 2NE1 special on MNET she constantly mentions the Philippines. Before her launch as a member of the girl group 2NE1, she would post messages on her thread in Pinoyexchange in Tagalog!
Whether Sandara and Joseph really had a relationship before, I think the guy should have some pride in himself by not riding on Sandara’s popularity.

Sandara or DARA is not being true to herself. Yes, she’d been mentioning Phil. from the start,,,and most of her answers were unfavorable to Filipinos. She’d even said foul words before against us.(Like, marumi ang Pilipinas…lam nyo kung sino ang nagsabi sa akin, ung friend kong Korean na napanuod ang interview nya, pati friend ko nainis sa ugali nya!)
Ewan ko ba sa mga Pilipinong ito kung bakit nila tinatangkilik ang hindi naman Pilipinong artista. Kung may maganda yang credibility as a celebrity actress sa Pinas e di sana maraming offers/contracts for her…e di ba nilangaw naman sya?—ang dahilan,,ang interview nya dito.

i’m pretty sure Dara is being forced to deny everything.. she WAS together with Joseph. they practically declared it on national television. i even saw an interview when they claimed that their terms for endearment were “ma” and “pa” and there’s a picture of dara congratulating joseph on his birthday with the words “congratulation on your 22nd bday, pa”
it was real. they were a real couple. but then again, this is the entertainment industry. they’ll have to keep up with it. i just don’t see the point of not admitting that, yeah, they were a couple YEARS ago. it’s in the past, so why hide it?

sandara is telling the truth. im just so happy not she’s not with that sh_t abscbn. they were made believe couple. they were never on. sandara is not in love with that guy. if fans only knew how hard it was for sandara being suffocated with abs. im so glad she gain that freedom on 2007. thank God sandy never hold any grudges against that sh_t network.

sandara park and joseph bitangcol were in a relationship , he is a fellow star circle quest talent but she was teamed up with hero angeles and later their loveteam faded around the time sandara announced she wanted a new leading man, that’s the time the showbiz news broke out that joseph was her boyfriend, whether it was real or faked by their talent agency, they appeared to be really in a relationship.

the link above is a video of dara in a show in philippines… she was asked if she wants to greet anyone and she said Joseph is still sleeping.. i know it does not directly say that he is her boyfriend but it’s up to you to interpret it.. for me, the fact that she wasn’t asked about joseph and she said that she can’t greet him cos he’s still sleeping means that he is a very important person to her.. and how did she know that he was still sleeping?? she said that it’s because he hasn’t replied to her text yet.. it could be that they text each other often..
and in an interview of her when she came back to philippines (i think it was on 2007 or 2008 ) she was asked if she missed joseph and she said that (maybe their relationship) was a long time ago.. and when she was asked if she STILL LOVES HIM she said maybe as a friend.. she didn’t exactly say that they were never in a relationship nor that she never loved him in the first place..
