I just saw the ABS-CBN Breaking News about Judy Ann Santos and Ryan Agoncillo’s wedding in Batangas City. They were able to keep it private. As in nobody knew exactly when and where the wedding will be held prior to today.

It’s a surprise that Judy Ann Santos, who is very popular, would choose to have a private ceremony. When almost every girl would dream to have a lavish and well attended wedding, she chose to have something really “quiet” and solemn. (Not a fan of Judy Ann but I know now that we have something in common.)

April 28th is also the wedding anniversary of Sharon Cuneta and Senator Francis Pangilinan (who took the time to return my comment when I posted in his blog – find the link in my blogroll below). If you remember, they also surprised the nation when they had a private ceremony at Mayor Pablo Cuneta’s residence in Dasmarinas Village in Makati 13 years ago (April 28, 1996.)

Richard Gomez (who was Sharon’s beau years ago) also got married on April 28th (1998.) That was eleven years ago in Ormoc City in Leyte. And I still remember that people were “shocked” to learn of his engagement with Lucy Torres. I still remember that it was just a few months (or was it weeks) after his announced breakup with the late Patricia Borromeo. Oh yeah! I know my Philippine showbiz history well prior to my “self exile” in Seoul

hi betchay! sobrang sikreto ang kasalan nila. pero sa nes, pinakita yung clips, ang simple lang ng gown ni judy ann. tapos si ryan, excited talaga. makita mo sa mukha niya. and kahit yung mga celebs na invited, talagang tikom ang bibig nila when asked about judy ann and ryan’s wedding.
