Boyet Fajardo scandal

Because I don’t want to think of another term, I’ll just use the word “scandal.” And it really is scandalous if it’s true that he asked a cashier of the Duty Free Philippines to kneel before him.

Check out the Boyet Fajardo video scandal here.
Boyet Fajardo scandal on TV Patrol, 23 March 2009
Marvin Fernandez on 24 Oras, 24 March 2009

The story that has been circulating on the net (or as I’d read on Pinoyexchange) is that the newly-hired cashier asked Boyet Fajardo (a clothes designer) for an ID when he was paying with his credit card. The designer felt insulted and made a scene cussing at the employee. AFAIK, it’s SOP in the Philippines to show an ID when paying a credit card. (I prefer that in contrast to the normal practice in Korea where the cashiers wouldn’t even look at the credit card for the name.) The poor guy is just doing his job and like the others had said, you are not a god that people should kneel before you.

Actually, I’ve come across this in one article, can’t remember when and which article I’ve read about this. That article didn’t drop a name to identify the culprit and the victim that was a “blind item”.

    But not until now…………….

Honestly, we haven’t heard of that certain boyet fajardo’s side why he insisted to make his victim kneel before him? Baka naman sabog sa………..for all we know?!

But then whatever the reasons/s might be, isa lang ang masasabi ko…………….”Teka, sino ka bang hinayupak na boyet fuck-hard-do (fajardo) kaa?!!” You should know that…………!!!

Haller…………….!!! Look at yourself, fag……….!!! Yun ay kung may eskinita along the creek of Pasig……?!!

Tandaan mo iyan………….!!!

if this is true..this is so bad. ..very bad

Now the question..is this really true? I tried to search for some information on the internet, and other than some blogs and youtube videos with no sound, i cant find any. No newspaper articles, No youtube videos featuring news features about this.

Im not the kind of person who will easily believe on something without verifying it.

I dont want another Tommy Hilfiger/Oprah story that many believed to be true, and turned out to be a hoax…….

so please if anyone have some link to actual news feeds, kindly provide the info here. Thanks

..otherwise i think bashing is a bit irresponsible at this time

We have already submitted charges to the Commission on Human Rights, ABS CBN has already featured a part of our side regarding this incident: http://www.watchpinoy.com/action/viewvideo/15312/tv_patrol_03_23_09_P7/?vpkey=

As of this evening GMA 7 has started an interview of concerned employees.

Hope this matter does not go unnoticed, the suspected party (BF) has also been doing rounds on the internet but what has been done is done, the employees of Duty Free Philippines will stand on what is right and support our fellow employees.

i read about this, too. even without the sounds, the video is very telling of how arrogant that Boyet Fajardo acted. getting angry over something is one thing, letting the other person kneel before you is totally despicable of him.

I’ve read the article abs-cbn and a certain rivera who is boyet’s friend said that its a “Traumatic experience” for him. Ano yun??? traumatic ba kamo? Cguro the staffs knelt because of fear of losing their jobs, maybe at that time they’re thinking of their families’ welfare if they will be unemployed. Yiii kkagigil ka tlga!!! His spokesperson described what happened at Duty Free is just Boyet Fajardo’s Creative Outburst and he didn’t really mean what he said and he’s apologizing.

“Creative Outburst?” – this excuse only proves Boyet Fajardo’s contempt to other people especially those whose social class are lower than him which he thinks are dumb and idiots.

I don’t think he’s really sorry and apologetic for what has transpired, he’s just afraid that he’ll be going out-of-business.

    His line of brands are:
    Onesimus
    Initials
    Chancellor 9000
    Boyet Fajardo
    Boyet Fajardo for Men

I think there are more that I haven’t known yet.

Wow Boyet Fajardo..who the fuck does he think he is to be able to say/command that to another person. I guess his head is too high up there that he can smell his own ass..lmao. And name drop all the officials you want. None of them can help you if someone does try to do something horrible to you lol.

And wow public apology..its just another way to get out of the mess that he’s in without suffering any king of “real” punishment. Just goes to show that he’s just another false face pretending to be a good person when he’s rotting inside. Dude..you’re just another person, you will die just like everybody else. Let’s just see where your destination is at the end.

When I went for a tour in Europe, Boyet Fajardo was in my group. He displayed his arrogance by fighting two Filipino SENIOR CITIZENS over a seat in the tourist bus! I thought that was really, really disrespectful.
My sister works in Duty Free and she related that there were other instances when Boyet Fajardo shouted at clerks.
Shouting and berating people are acts AGAINST HUMAN DIGNITY. I think that BOYET FAJARDO should understand that the golden rule really works in real life – “DO NOT DO UNTO OTHERS WHAT YOU DO NOT WANT OTHERS TO DO UNTO YOU.” Whether one has one peso or one million in the pocket doesn’t make a difference in the eyes of God. He favors a good heart over fame and money.

To the cashier who knelt down, don’t despair. You have a good heart because you thought about doing something just to end the dilemma. In the eyes of GOD and people, YOU ARE MUCH MUCH A BETTER PERSON THAN BOYET FAJARDO. REAL PEOPLE DO NOT DEHUMANIZE.

i’ll play a devils advocate once again.

Isn’t it that if you will boycott the company of this B Fajardo, the ones who will be affected most are the small employees (working under his brands), and worst lose their jobs? B Fajardo have millions while most of his people have none. With the economic crisis we are having, this is a very bad picture. So i think boycotting his company (or advocating for it, and worst burning it)is quite insensitive.

I despise him in the same magnitude as what most average filipino do, but i can’t castigate or berate him for his wrong doings for in the first place im not perfect. I have done mistakes to my friends and other people too, and the same goes for everyone else. Im not a christian (i hate religion, and im agnostic) but im fond of the good philosophies that religion advocates. If i remember it right, there was a story in the Bible wherein people are throwing stones at a prostitute and s the story goes..blah blah. Im sure everybody knows that, as well as the moral of the story.

I was actually waiting for someone religious to at least say something that is reflective of a genuine christian pinoy, something like “may god open up his mind so that he will realize his mistakes”( without scorching). But i failed. Being an agnostic, it is uncomfortable for me to say things like this (religious matters), so i hope someone will do it for me.

…Let anyone among you who is without sin be the first to throw a stone ”( from a book i actually dont believe, but admire)

    Peace.

don’t worry ARVINSIGN most of his employees are in Cambodia, they’re likely underpaid, working like horses seven days a week 12-14 hours kinda like slaves. its cheap labor in these countries its a fact and its against human dignity.read his articles,in his website it says he gets man power production elsewhere, places like China and Cambodia where you get to squeeze every ounce of muscle for a few cents the man is virtually a slave runner!so if he goes out of business,it’ll be a glorious day for HUMAN RIGHTS GROUPS and i will celebrate with them.

I too remember a story in the Bible about Jesus washing the feet of his disciples. Imagine the Son Of God washing his disciples’ feet?! then he says although he is the Son of God he is still a servant just like the rest of us. If that is not a perfect example of humility and meekness then i don’t know what is. Forgive me but will cast the first stone on whoever thinks he is greater than God

It’s good that DF employees submitted this video incident to the media for all the world to see. To boyet fajardo, don’t make stupid excuses of your long hours of travel and your are sick that time. “Pareho kayong biktima…?” Really? Eh ikaw ang nang-api ng kapwa mo. With this incident I guess this is the time God is waking you up for your arrogant attitude. I wonder if you have been taught by your parents of good manners because we only learn some from school but the basic is from our parents. You only showed the whole Philippines & World how you’ve but brought up. A lot of people doesn’t even know you and you don’t even stand along Inno Sotto, Pitoy Moreno, Ben Farrales etc. and yet you act as if you are God. Don’t worry Fernandez because all the people of this country & the world is at your side. It’s time to awaken this – BOYET FAJARDO who have been power hungry. I hope Robinson’s will pull out all your RTWs because you are a disgrace to the mall & your kin. Just look at Ricky Reyes, even though he is a multi-millionaire already has remained humble and helpful to the poor.

That depends on which “priciples” are you agnostic…..
    Biblically, personally or what?
At any rate, don’t you dare to include phrases from the bible if you are an agnostic…….
Silly, agnostic yet taking inscriptions from the Bible….?!!
    C’mon………..!!!
One thing more, I meant “saint” not for the people, “saint” for “fuck-hard-do” alone, get that?
Puh-lease………!!!? Try harder, maybe you can make us laugh……next time!!

with the way you respond, your action and your choice of words, the only difference between you and B. Fajardo..is that he was caught in a CCTV camera. Everything else is the same.

    cheers

Relax. Its holy week (in case you are a catholic)

“””Again, you’re making yourself a “clean individual”?”””

    — from my previous post i said…”but i can’t castigate or berate him for his wrong doings for in the first place im not perfect. I have done mistakes to my friends and other people too, and the same goes for everyone else.”

Gets? which means I am no better than anybody as far as human relations is concerned 🙂

You know im not sure about this, but based on my limited experience, people who are subtle, less violent ( in words and in action) and tact are usually the harmless ones. Its a case to case basis, but more or less this is the case. I presume that if ever B. Fajardo (based on his personality in the video) will post a comment regarding someone who made a mistake (for example his video scene didnt happen at all), the same style of writing (use of profane language) will be very evident.

Btw..i dont believe in the bible per se so figure out what kind of agnosticism is that. Its a literary tool for me, so that doesnt prevent me from reading it and picking out stories and phrases that i like.

    Peace

Better review all your postings…….from there you can read all that’s reflecting how’s the percentage of your similarity with him…..and not to me….!!
Read your posts line per line…..!!
Your experiences and beliefs are applicable only on to you. Go on with your “agnostic” way of living as I go on with mine….
Also, don’t tell me about Christianity, ok?! Where in the world you’ll find “something” who is agnostic and yet speaks of biblical terms? “Literary tool”? Literary tool your ass….!!!
Well, if you are really that agnostic…….there’s nothing I can do about that.
But I can sense that that is not your case…….sorry, I wasn’t able to detect that from our previous conversations, you are more of an “attention grabber” or merely “KSP”…..!!! And I was that damn stupid not to detect it that early…..tsk,tsk,tsk…….

Sorry, for women only…….but I can give you a especial consideration……it’ll be all ok with me….if the price is right?!!
    Lol…!!!

“”Where in the world you’ll find “something” who is agnostic and yet speaks of biblical terms? “Literary tool”? Literary tool your ass….!!!””

    — Where in the world? that shows then how limited you are. Are you really fond of using profane words? that reflects the kind of personality you have.

“”And I was that damn stupid not to detect it that early…..tsk,tsk,tsk…….””

    — The moment you started posting profane words and insulting remarks, thats the time you made yourself obviously stupid. Just try to read your gibberish posts and i assure you, you wont understand a bit of it.

“”Sorry, for women only…….but I can give you a especial consideration……it’ll be all ok with me….if the price is right?!!””

    — A good example of your gibberish thoughts. Im giving you a favor by reading it.

Since its holy week (again assuming you are a catholic), try to reflect on yourself. You are not what you think you are. You are a sinner in the same caliber as B Fajardo, the fact that you love to use profanities as well as hurling derogatory remarks on people you dont know. This is a sin that most of US commit unknowingly (according to my christian friends).

    Peace

“It’s sad because this happened when there are foreigners interested in bringing a Filipino brand abroad, in Switzerland, and United Arab Emirates, because his [Fajardo’s] creations are unique,” Rivera said.

He is a unique indeed, a unique pig. By the way are his creations for the pigs too.
