Don’t just search, FIND!
Have you visited find.com yet? Find.com is a search engine that offers something else besides showing the results of a search. On the frontpage of the search engine, you’ll find topics or categories that shows some introductory article about the topic when clicked. Just like when you click on “computers” from the front page, it will take you to a page where you can find sub-categories, related searches and a rather informative article about the subject.
I like the interface of find.com with its white background, light blue hyperlinks, green titles and easy-on-the-eye black font for the articles. The pages load fast and like other search engines, it shows what you’re looking for. Aside from the interesting articles I mentioned before, I also like that the organization of the search results isn’t confusing. The search box is huge and easy to find. The font sizes used are uniform across all pages. They do serve an ad, but it’s just on the side and totally not obtrusive.
I hope that this new search engine will maintain its really nice and easy-to-use interface. I like it already!
