2008 Itaewon Global Village Festival

by Betchay on October 16, 2008

I was in Itaewon last Tuesday to buy spring roll wrappers. I was there again on Wednesday for coffee and books with my Korean classmates. I was there again this morning to withdraw money (for some reason, my KEB cash card only works in the Itaewon branch ATM machine.)

This morning, booths were being set up for the 2008 Itaewon Global Village Festival. The festival is held annually in October and I was there in 2005 with some friends. I’d never been to the event since then. Anyway, a stage was also being prepared near the Philippine Embassy building.

The 2008 Itaewon Global Village Festival will run this weekend. Worth going to are the food booths where you can sample international delicacies — I’m so looking forward to some Indian food this weekend! (Go easy on the food, unless you have some fat burner in stock)

The nearest subway to the area is Itaewon or Noksapyeong stations on line 6 (brown).
