Marathon shoes

new-balance.jpg After running in two marathons, 18K and 20K, my husband had finally worn out his Avia running shoes that my sister gave last year. So I’m searching for a new pair and I’d like them to be delivered before he comes back from a business trip.

Shopping for me is never easy! It’s time consuming because I’ve always been a careful shopper (researcher?) Before I buy anything, I need to do my research first. Not surprisingly, there are things to consider when buying a pair of shoes. Here’s a detailed running shoes buying guide. See, there are a couple of things that need consideration before purchasing. Why do I need those info? Running is an intensive activity and runners need good support for their feet.

There are numerous brands of running shoes on the market. This one is a difficult decision to make but I’m definitely going to stick with popular and reliable brands. In this case, brands like Nike running shoes and New Balance running shoes comes to mind.

just 2-3 months ago, i had the chance to edit technical abstracts of industrial engineering invention patents on running/athletic shoes.. i just purchased an avia running shoes and saw to it that my pair reflects the figures shown in the patents’ figures/images– especially the cantilever system.. Alex, my husband, asked me to bring my nike running shoes with me but i tried to look for a new pair at least sporting the characteristics mentioned in the patents we’ve last worked on…
