Is GMA going to do a remake of my favorite Korean drama “All About Eve” next year? They said that it will star the lovely Iza Calzado and Sunshine Dizon in the title roles.
“All About Eve” is the very first Korean drama that I saw from start to finish in the year 2000. This is the drama that got me hooked on Korean entertainment. It is also my Jang Dong Gun’s last drama.
I’m not totally against the networks remaking foreign dramas. In fact, I really enjoyed watching Kim Chiu and Gerald Anderson’s “My Girl” and this season’s hit “ILBLF” or “I Love Betty La Fea” which I have been following religiously (thanks to Dave for his uploads!) The networks have been doing a great job making the dramas their own. I just miss seeing something like “Pangako sa ‘Yo” or “Kay Tagal Kang Hinintay” which were both well-made shows.

there are lots of remake telenovelas on the 2 giant networks (ABS & GMA).. the recent “Kahit Isang Saglit” of ABS is for me a great show to watch.. a partnership between ABS-CBN network and a Malaysian production..

Three Dads & One Mommmy is the recent Korean show of ABS.. I liked the characters of Eugene and Jo Hyun Jae there..
yes, meron nga remake nito. but si Eula Valdez and Jean Garcia daw ang lead roles dito. pati Coffee Prince meron na din remake sa GMA, but early next year or late this year ang showing nitong mga k-dramas remake na ito.
pati daw full house may remake and ang mga biida daw ay si marian rivera nad richard gutierrez. sana wag na lang si marian.. di bagay sa kanya.. chaka mejo marami na ring galit sa kaniya dahil sa hiwalayang dingdong and karylle. marami namang artista na mas fit sa role na chinita like heart evangelista or jennylyn mercado. tpos yung lead role pwede na rin si chard pero sna singer dn yung kunin.ahaha supre naman kasi kung lahat na lang ng remake kay marian.. sana give chance to others hindi yung isang artista lang ang pinapasikat nila.. sana the viewers choice will be heard hnid yung kung sino lang ang nakausong artista..

I just love “Tayong Dalawa”… IMO, it’s the best series on TV right now… great acting, great story and pinapatawa ako lagi ni Lola Gets

A popular trend these days is to take old series or movies that were popular and “re-imagine” them. GMA could very well be a good attempt at re-making “Eve”.

Hindi remake, destruction of the original ang All About Eve ng GMA-7. Maganda ang story ng Korean version, why destroy it!Pati characters iniba… nakakainis. Philippine version nakakahiya. All About Eve ay isa sa pinakamagandang Korean telenovela…dahil may puso ito. Bakit ninyo sinira ang magandang story nito! My family and friends have seen Korean “All About Eve” repeatedly and we love it, kaya naiinis kami sa inyong version… kaya banned sa amin ang mga shows ng GMA-7… Maninira!
One more thing, bakit may Zorro ba sa Pilipinas, Palos pa mayroon, masyado namang hindi makatotohanan. Gaya-gaya kayo sinisira naman ninyo ang mga original nito. Sumulat na lang kayo ng sariling atin, hindi yaong nanghihiram kayo sa iba sisirain naman ninyo.

kung hindi pa kayo nakakahalata…ang ugali ng ABS ay pahabain ang series hanggang bumagsak ang rating-talking about destruction of the script.may survey ngang nai paste wala namang source nilagay…halatang imbento.tumahimik na lang kaya kayo at manood…

i love all about eve (korean drama) … sayang naman na bastardized ng philippine gma remake.. kasi masyadong madugo ang mga eksena. the korean version ay very wholesome at simpler ang plot … of everyday love, struggles and life…
