anyway, the leftist newspaper is asking for the people to not be emotional about the incident… hmm… it’s okay to be emotional with cows but not with an ajumma’s death? yeah right!

Kala ko sa movie ko lang mapapanood yan, totoo pala. After reading your post, nagbasa pa ko ng mga articles tapos nalaman ko na ang lapit lang pala ng distance / border. Parang yung nangyari sa Germany and Switzerland noon. Hindi matulungan nung mga Swiss yung mga taong gustong pumunta sa kanila dahil di pa nakaka-cross ng line (as in literal na linya).

it was a sad fate for that old lady. However in the POV of the soldiers themselves, the north and south is still technically at war, and crossing a military zone is a no-no, irregardless whether it was done by mistake or with intention. In cases like this, you cant ask argue as to why that lady was shot despite the fact that she was unarmed, because this is a war, and the rules of one country does not apply to both. You dont expect “Miranda” rights here.

“Two months of violent protests over safe beef, nothing for an old lady who as executed.” – I found this KT’s reader’s comment full of “the heck!”. Well, it does make perfect sense to me…Bakit nga ba? Ano ba ung tao baboy-ramo? She was unarmed and such why should she be shot twice? Malamang tatakbo yon sa panic makarinig ba nmn ng putok eh.

I was just thankful that nothing bad happened when we stayed there.

I’m sure we’re going to see the problems with this…

I hope they investigate this. I’m sure there were mistakes on both sides.

What’s the appeal of the area? Is it really nice, or just dangerous?
