Maybe It’s You (Ako si Kim Sam Soon theme song)

Like I said in a previous post, I watched the pilot episode of “Ako si Kim Sam Soon” (My Name is Kim Sam Soon – Pinoy remake) on Youtube. I have only praises for that episode. It’s been a long time since I last saw a really nice Pinoy telenovela or drama. When I was on vacation in the Philippines, I didn’t spend much time in front of the TV since I thought there was really nothing to watch. Just a bunch of mediocre and stereotypical Filipino soap operas. The only shows I watched religiously are “Noypi” on ABS-CBN and most of the magazine shows on QTV including the hilarious and avant garde “Camera Cafe” (I miss this show!)

I enjoyed listening to “Maybe It’s You”, the theme song of “Ako si Kim Sam Soon” sang by Kim Sam Soon herself, Regine Velasquez. It’s got a really nice melody and Regine sang it so wonderfully.

I’ve been alone searching for love
’til you came along and touched my heart
With you in my life I’ll never think twice
It’s you I’ve been waiting to call

[Chorus:]
Maybe it’s you I’m thinking of
Who’ll mend this broken heart of mine
It’s you I’m wishing for who’ll be with me tonight
Someone to hold, someone to cry, someone who’ll
Make me feel alive
Maybe it’s you all my life
Ohh…

No lonely hours but just precious times
I turn to you and I’m alright
Oh…
Never will die this feeling inside
With you every moment’s forever

Maybe it’s you
I’m thinking of who’ll mend this broken heart of mine
It’s you I’m wishing for who’ll be with me tonight
Someone to hold, someone to cry, someone who’ll
Make me feel alive
Maybe it’s you all my live

(Instrumental)

Maybe it’s you
I’m thinking of who’ll mend this broken heart of mine
It’s you I’m wishing for who’ll be with me tonight
Someone to hold, someone to cry, someone who’ll make me feel alive
Maybe it’s you all my life

Someone to hold, someone to cry, someone
Who’ll make me feel alive
Maybe it’s you all my life

Ohhhh…
Maybe it’s you all my life

    But even the Camera Cafe is an imitation…Anyway, yeah. I’m just thinking of doing diaspora philanthropy. My future tax remittances would keep the economy afloat. Or I can invest eventually in the Philippines should God allow me to get rich. ^^;

Naemail ko na rin po pala si Mr. Roger Flor. Is he a Filipino?

this is indeed better than what ABS have, “my girl”. regine is also very good in acting, and they have good chemistry on screen (mark anthony). i always look forward to watching this every night, naalala ko when i was watching the korean version, may mga parts na nakakaiyak talaga. kaya naman, excited ako na mapanood din itong version ng pinoy. 🙂
