I’m preparing for school in the fall. Part of my preparation is weaning “ME” from my son. We’d been together for the past two years and the only time I wasn’t with him was when the one night I stayed in New York City with my sister.
I’m reminded me of that crazy time I spent “eye” shopping for nursery furniture. When you’re a first time mother, you want everything to be perfect and in place. I now know that it’s not just possilbe!
Baby items here in Korea are expensive. I’d seen two TV documentary shows compare the prices here and abroad. Known brands are usually imported and parents (specially first time parents) will not mind the price they’re literally paying for their infants’ things.
Now that my son is two years old, I’d been looking for a toddler bed for him. He is so into buses, trains, cars and firetrucks and it would be nice to get him a “car” bed. Which reminded me of that “Friends” episode when Monica shopped for a bed. I’d like to get a matching toy chest too!

Separation is really a tough thing! I went to LA and my mom called me everyday, telling me how worried she was! Haha, mothers… =P
