You really have to apply as a tourist and present the documents they request. If you don't have a COE or ITR then the only thing you can do is to try with whatever documents you have. You may present your inviter's documents. If the Embassy doesn't think it's not acceptable, they'll give it back to you. If they try to ask you for a COE or ITR, just tell them you don't have any because you're not working. You won't know unless you try. Hi Annie!
