Hyun Bin who?
Not to be mistaken for the gorgeous and very popular star of Taegukgi and Autumn Story (원빈), Hyun Bin or Kim Tae Pyung in real life gained prominence this year for starring oppposite Kim Sun Ah in this year’s famous drama “My name is Kim Sam Soon”. He was Sam Soon’s hot-tempered boss (owner of the French restaurant “Bon Apetit”). Unfortunately for him, he had to work with Daniel Henney whose charm and good looks had made him a national hearththrob. Imagine that he had to compete for audiences’ attention with the Korean-American.
I had never seen Hyun Bin in a drama or any other TV show. Maybe I’d seen him in “Nonstop 4″ but I didn’t really notice. In the Bridget Jones-inspired drama, he was an “abused” son (better watch the show to know what I mean!) who almost always was in an argument with the show’s heroine. I would like to tell more about his role in the drama but I don’t want to spoil the fun for those who haven’t seen it.

SAM SHIK, hyun bin, is so charming! actually, i never thought of myself being a fan of a korea novela… at first, i didn’t notice him, because i was so into daniel henney (henry in kim sam soon filipino version). when i was star strucked with henney, i was fortunate enough to watch 2 episodes before holy week. i missed the show, so i patiently downloaded episodes in the net (the ones with english subtitle), and i finished watching the show up to 16 episodes!
in the end, i liked hyun bin more!

hi, my aunt who’s permanently residing in Korea told me that the issue about hyun and sun ah is not true. they are just friends. he calls he unni, which is sister in korean language. while there was indeen a rumour about sun ah breaking off with her boyfriend, it was never confirmed. the ‘palipad hangin’ daw is only a conjecture. as for him smoking, there isnt any truth in that daw. my aunt who is just as fanatic about hyun bin as we are, isnt entirely sure about this though she tried to get as much information about hyun as she could. i just thought id share it with you guys. ill try to post any other information about him here as soon as i get them…

I think Hyun Bin smoke, I saw the picture once in asianfanatics wherein Hyun Bin smoke with other crew in Kim sam soon, but then normal daw sa Korean mag smoke, dahil maginaw daw dun .

hello! i just finished watching “My Lovely Sam Soon” for the Nth time! and everytime i watch it, kinikilig at naiiyak pa din ako, seems like i watch it for the first time again. hindi nakakasawa kasi. i just love to see Hyun Bin and Kim Sun Ah quarrel, laugh and cry over and over again. hope to see them together soon sa mga dramas. also, last month i’ve seen “A Millionaire’s First Love”, cute and heartwarming. suited talaga kay Hyun Bin ang roles na masungit but in the end, soft hearted pala. Keep it up!
and lastly, I love this site! tells me more about Korea and keeps me interested in going there someday!

I like Hyun Bin very much in Snow Queen so ruggedly handsome and very good looking. He pairs well with the beautiful Sung Yuri. Does he have a girlfriend? I hope he dates Yuri because they make a very beautiful pair. Will Hyun Bin go to military next year. Pls tell him also to grow his hair again. and the stubbles fit him well also. Hope he appears in showbiz extra again or the one hour showbiz show in KBS. Hope to hear from him soon what he is doing.
