hi ms. betchay im a a filipina and a US army wife who based in south korea right now till nov. 2011 im planning on inviting my sister to visit us in south korea since i just had a baby. she plan to visit us this april.she already had all the papers so with the invitation letter from my husband is there any possible she got denied since the invitor is not a korean residence but a US army one?

Hi! Ms. Betchay,
I’ve been reading your blog about living in Korea, when I came acroos this post.
I just wanna ask if meron kang kakilala na nakapaginvite ng family members nila not using a tourist visa. Yung brother in law ko kasi ay may malaking poultry, so he suggested na iinvite ung mga brothers ko to help him. So hindi ko alam if ano bang klaseng visa ang aaplyan nila. Kung sa EPS ba sila dadaan sure na dito sa amin sila mkkpagtrabaho? Kung visiting visa naman applyan nila, masyadong maiksi..so naguguluhan ako..
More than 4 years na ako dito, and a Korean citizen, while ung mother ko is staying with us, and more than 3 years na rin sya sa amin. So balak ko naman ung iba kong kapatid iinvite…

Hello po, i just want to ask po if malaki ang chance po namin ng parents ko mbgyan ni visa? Ang father ko po ay nagka visa na din ng US visa at nagpunta na din sa ibang bansa, like japan etc po. i asked my father po kasi na mamasyal po sa korea with my mom. pero si mama po, wla din pong visa pa, same po kami na wala pang experience sa pag iibang bansa. gsto lang po namin mamasyal ng buong family. Hi Farra! Same application for other tourists. You need to provide the embassy with your certificate of employment, ITR, bank account, application form, passport. Good luck sa ‘yo.

gud day mam,can i ask kc ala p aq ideya f how to apply a tourist visa in korea well my husband work in barko and ang employer nya is ang hanjin jan s korea dis july or august drydock ang barko nla so my husband want me to visit him in korea?pno b ang gagawin at ano ang mga requirements pra mkpg apply aq may posibilidad b n maaprubahan aq?tnx u so much i hope u answer my question asap…..

hi ms betchay..i’ve been reading your blog way back and i really find it very helpful, especially s tulad ko n ngbabalak mag-apply for a tourist visa in korea.

i plan to travel on october, actually may ticket n ako papunta dun, yung pabalik lang wala. siguro kuha n lang ako once na-approve n visa since di naman requirements s embassy yung tickets.

anyway, may isang question lang ako. yung s bank certificate ba, should it be a savings account? I was thinking of submitting kasi yung s checking account ko.
